4. Buffalo Bills

Are the Bills for real this season? We think so, but we still aren’t really sure. Sean McDermott’s squad has won some impressive games this season but also lost some questionable ones. They play host to a very good Saints team and it’s a perfect chance to silence the critics.

This isn’t just a must-win game for the Bills to stay in playoff contention, they also need to show they can compete with the best. The Saints are playing like the best team in football right now. They’ve won six straight games and look unstoppable on both sides of the ball. But every fire eventually runs out of flame and the Bills are looking to cool things down on Sunday.

There’s reason to feel confident with the Bills. They’ve got a talented offense and might finally have a balanced attack with newly acquired wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin. Tyrod Taylor has lacked the weapons around him and the Bills are finally helping him out. The real questions have to be answered on the defensive side of the ball. Can the front-seven slowdown Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara? They are without Marcell Dareus in the middle and guys like Adolphus Washington have to step up. We’ll see if they can bounce back after giving up 25 points to the Jets last week.

At 5-3, the Bills are still breathing down the Patriots’ neck in the AFC East. They hold the longest playoff drought of any professional sports franchise at 17 years and a win puts them one step closer to ending it.
