High Salary PG

John Wall, WAS vs ATL ($10,100): Wall is averaging 45 FPPG this season, but he’s been above that number in each of his last three games. He has a double-double in two of those games and while he didn’t get a double-double against the Lakers, he had 23 points, eight rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and two steals. The Hawks have the 25th defense in the league and have been cooked by every All-Star level point guard they’ve faced this season. Wall is the most expensive point guard on the board and for good reason. He should be in for a big night. *****

Lonzo Ball, LAL vs MIL ($7,000): Lonzo is averaging 30.5 FPPG this season and has been over 30+ fantasy points in his last two games. He’s still struggling to score, but he’s averaging 12 FGA per game, so the opportunities are there. Despite his scoring struggles, he’s contributing in other ways, which has helped his fantasy numbers. If he’s ever going to put the ball in the basket, it should come against the 29th ranked Bucks defense. ****

Jeff Teague, MIN at PHO ($7,100): Teague was below his 32 FPPG average against the Warriors, giving owners only 25 fantasy points in that one. He should find things much easier against the lowly ranked Suns defense. While the Suns have struggled all season stopping opposing scoring guards, Teague is more facilitator than scorer. That still makes him a high-value play who is cheaper than the likes of Dennis Schroder, Ricky Rubio, and Elfrid Payton with a much better match-up. *****
