High Value PG

Dennis Smith Jr., DAL vs CLE ($6,000): Smith Jr. had his best game of the season on Tuesday against Tuesday. He had 22 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists for a fantasy total of 44.6 points. The fact that he was able to do that against John Wall and the Wizards defense bodes well for what he may do on Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers and their league-worst defense. He’s now proven to be a 40+ fantasy point player and I expect him to be between 35-40 points against Cleveland. *****

Frank Ntilikina, NY vs SAC ($4,500): Ntilikina is averaging 17.2 FPPG this season, but he’s sandwiched games of 28.3 and 29.9 between a 15.6 fantasy point performance. He’s still struggling to score, but the return of Porzingis should improve his looks. Perhaps, more importantly, is the fact that he’s averaging eight assists in his last three games. He’s starting to take control of the Knicks offense and if New York is smart, they’ll start to increase his minutes. He’s their future at the position and there’s no reason he shouldn’t be a 25-minute player. ****

Jamal Murray, DEN vs ORL ($4,500): Despite seeing only 18 minutes of action against the Thunder, Murray still finished with 18.6 fantasy points. That number is right around his 19.1 FPPG average this season. Mudiay outplayed him on Thursday, but fans of Mudiay know that the 21-year-old point guard can be very inconsistent. Even if Mudiay keeps it up and Murray sees less playing time, he showed he can be a fantasy-point-per-game player. ***
