Every NBA team’s worst Thanksgiving road trip companion
Milwaukee Bucks: Matthew Dellavedova
“Hit that guy crossing the street.”
“I don’t want to, Matthew. I’m trying to get us to this Starbucks in one piece, and I don’t want to be arrested for vehicular whatever.”
“You don’t need to kill him, just give him a little tap. Send him a message.”
“And what message would that be?”
“Walk faster, or someone will hit you with a car.”
“I’m not doing it. I’m going to smile and wave politely.”
“I’m going to throw my shoe at him.”
“If you throw your shoe, I’m not stopping so you can get out and retrieve it. That will be his shoe.”
“Gonna aim for the back of the knee. Turn right so I can get a better angle.”
“No, Matthew. I will not be doing that. We’re going straight. Stop it. I childproofed the windows. You’re not opening them so you can injure somebody for no reason.”
“This is who I am.”
This type of exchange I imagine would repeat at every stoplight. Matthew Dellavedova is a pest. That is the type of thing he does. He let’s you know he’s there by either taking you off your game or out of it. Some call it dirty. Other’s call it filling a valuable role in a team dynamic that can quite easily lose an edge.
I call it dirty.
If he’s not going to be doing this, he’ll be telling stories of him and Bogut hitting various subreddits and really trolling people. This would not be an enjoyable experience, despite our sharing a first name.
