3. Los Angeles Chargers at Dallas Cowboys

One the Thanksgiving matchups feature an interesting game between the Chargers and Cowboys. We’ve got one team trending up, hot off a win, while the other is falling apart right before our eyes.

Don’t look now but the Chargers are gaining some momentum. They completely pieced apart the Bills last week and hung up 54 points on the road. The Chargers are a lot better than their 4-6 record suggests and could easily be 6-4 if it weren’t for a couple of close losses on the road. If there’s any middle-of-the-pack team to be worried about in the AFC, it’s them.

The offense has the ability to be explosive. Phillip Rivers can throw for 300+ yards on a given day while Keenan Allen and Melvin Gordon are two of the best young talents at their positions. Not to mention, the defense has been just as good. Joey Bosa has been everything the Chargers were hoping for and more. The Chargers defense won’t pull a performance like they did against the Bills last week but they can dominate tomorrow.

As for the Cowboys, they’re holding on to dear life. At 5-5 they’re without Ezekiel Elliott for the time being and have suffered a number of crucial injuries. Dak Prescott hasn’t been playing like the quarterback we’ve seen in weeks past and is coming off his first three-interception game. With their backs against the wall, Jason Garrett’s team needs to figure it out fast, or they’re destined for trouble.

With the home crowd in primetime, there’s no way the Cowboys can walk away losers in this one. The hand is hovering over the panic button and one more loss ensues hysteria in Jerry World.
