High Salary SG

Jimmy Butler, MIN vs PHO ($7,500): Butler is shooting more than ever recently, but he’s been a bit inconsistent. He had 44.25 fantasy points the last time these two teams met. Scoring shouldn’t be an issue for him given that the Suns have the second worst defense in terms of rating and the worst in terms of points allowed. *****

Tyreke Evans, MEM vs BKN ($6,900): Evans isn’t shooting the ball last he was a few weeks ago, but he remains the best perimeter threat for the Grizzlies. He typically gets his 18 points, but is real value is in assists and rebounding. The Nets allow the second most rebounds in the league, which should given Evans plenty of opportunities to add to his rebounding totals, thus increasing his value. *****

High Value SG

Dion Waiters, MIA at CHI ($6,100): Waiters had 30.75 fantasy points when these two teams met earlier this month. He’s had back-to-back strong games (39 fantasy points against the Celtics, 27.25 against the Timberwolves) following his 0-10 shooting night. The Bulls have been giving up a lot of points recently and if Waiters does one thing well, it’s get buckets. *****

Caris LeVert, BKN at MEM ($4,300): LeVert has been good for the Nets in his last three, averaging 25.9 FPPG in those contests. He’s not a big scorer, but he’s grabbing rebounds and chipping in with assists. If you really want to load up on high salary guys, LeVert is an affordable option who should be around his 22.1 season average. ***
