High Salary PG

Chris Paul, HOU vs BKN ($9,100): Paul isn’t going to go 2-of-12 from the field again, so I’m not concerned about his shooting struggles that plagued him against the Knicks. Despite scoring only six points, he picked up 13 assists. He’s had no trouble finding assists in the Houston offense. The Nets defense is among the worst in the league. The Rockets offense is among the best. Pound this matchup. *****

Damian Lillard, POR at NY ($9,000): The Knicks have given up 116 and 117 points in back-to-back games. They have the 21st-ranked defense. That’s great news for Lillard and the Portland offense. Lillard is averaging 31 points in his last three games. He’s having no trouble scoring right now, it’s just a matter of him picking up enough rebounds and assists to make up the value. I like his chances against New York. ****

Steph Curry, GS vs SAC ($9,700): Curry is listed as questionable, so keep an eye on him before making any decision. Assuming he does play, he should be in for a big game against the Kings. Sacramento has the 27th ranked defense, the Warriors are still the Warriors, and Curry is still Curry. Aside from him missing the game due to injury, this one could be over early, thus limiting Curry’s production. ****
