High Value PG

Dennis Smith Jr., DAL at SA ($6,000): Smith Jr. had 31.2 fantasy point against the Spurs two weeks ago. It’s tough to replicate big games against the Spurs, but Tony Parker’s return might be a good thing for Smith Jr. Parker is going to be rusty coming back from his injury and Smith Jr’s athleticism is a tough first game back for the veteran. His scoring is inconsistent, but I like him to put up a nice scoring game along with his usual assists and rebounds. ****

Darren Collison, IND vs ORL ($6,400): Collison has been above his 28.8 FPPG season average in three straight games. That includes a 32.2 fantasy point game a week ago against the Magic. He’s playing a high-level alongside Victor Oladipo right now and the Magic haven fallen off a cliff in all areas. Until Orlando proves that they can stop anyone, keep attacking the matchup. Oladipo’s injury only increases Collison’s chance at a big game. *****

T.J. McConnell, PHI vs CLE ($5,400): Much of McConnell’s value depends on the status of Ben Simmons. With Simmons out of Saturday’s game against the Magic, McConnell had 53.9 fantasy points. He’s been a solid player off the Philadelphia bench, but he showed that he can replicate Simmons’ role admirably. The Cavaliers are on a role, but their defense still ranks last in the league. ****
