2. Richarlison leads Watford past Tottenham

Watford have been one of the Premier League’s surprise packages this season under the guidance of new manager Marco Silva. The Portuguese did a great job with Hull last season, despite getting relegated, and the Hornets decided he was the man to take them forward.

That choice is already agreed to be a shrewd one with the Vicarage Road side sitting eighth in the table and only five points back from Liverpool in fifth place. Silva deserves a ton of credit for this but the man on the pitch who’s been leading Watford forward is Brazilian Richarlison.

The 20-year-old, who moved from Brazilian club Fluminense this summer, has been instrumental in the Hornets success and he’s adapted to English game very well. In his first 14 games for the club he has five goals as well as three assists and like most Brazilian soccer players he’s a joy to watch on the ball.

This weekend Watford welcome an out of form Tottenham side to Vicarage Road in a match they will fancy their chances of winning. Spurs were beaten by Leicester on Tuesday night and they’ve looked out of sorts in recent weeks so Watford, led by Richarlison, could really take advantage of this.

The Hornets were beaten quite comfortably by Manchester United in midweek but they showed some fight to come back from 3-0 to 3-2. This will give them an extra lift on Saturday and help them condemn Spurs to their second straight defeat.
