Week 13 is already here for fantasy football and owners are going to be looking for sleepers at the WR position.

The fantasy football season is rapidly coming to an end and many owners are facing a win or their season is over scenario. Even though the bye weeks are over, that doesn’t mean there aren’t some very good options for owners who are in a pinch. The Week 12 results are front and center, as always.

  1. Mike Williams: 0/0/0 – Miss, although he did get injured
  2. Danny Amendola: 1/15/0 – Miss
  3. Donte Moncrief: 1/16/0 – Miss
  4. Mike Wallace: 5/48/0 – Miss, barely
  5. Josh Doctson: 2/28/1 – Hit
  6. Kenny Golladay: 2/61/0 – Hit
  7. Corey Coleman: 3/64/0 – Hit
  8. Mohamed Sanu: 8/64/0, 51 yard TD pass – Hit
  9. Sammy Watkins: 4/82/1 – Hit
  10. Robby Anderson: 6/146/2 – Hit

This was another solid week as six receivers hit and only three of the bunch really hurt their owners. Mohamed Sanu might not have done things in a traditional manner, but fantasy points are the same no matter how they come. Corey Coleman also dropped a pass in the end zone that would have been a touchdown and would have seen the results take an even better turn. Week 13 is one of the biggest weeks of the year for fantasy and plenty of owners will look for similar results to last week. There are plenty of options to choose from.

10. Josh Gordon, Cleveland Browns

Ownership % – Yahoo 67%, ESPN 60%

There is no better spot to start this week than in Cleveland to discuss what kind of impact recently reinstated Josh Gordon will have this week. His ownership percentage says that he’s not a traditional sleeper wide receiver. There is virtually no other player that would be this widely owned after missing almost a full two years of action. On the flip side, Gordon is just 26 years old and has shown that he has the ability to be one of the best receivers in football.

The matchup this week isn’t great. The Los Angeles Chargers have solid playmakers across the defense and Casey Hayward is an excellent corner. There is a reason to believe that Corey Coleman would draw Hayward a little more than Gordon. After all, Coleman has been playing and practicing with the Browns a lot more than Gordon has. It would be unwise to expect Gordon to go crazy in this game. Coach Hue Jackson has already proclaimed his as a starter, so Cleveland must like what they see in practice. There just aren’t enough clues to project what will happen with confidence. However, the Browns should be facing a negative game script as usual. Gordon catching five passes for around 50 yards is definitely a possibility.
