High Salary SG

DeMar DeRozan, TOR vs PHO ($8,500): DeRozan has been over 40 fantasy points in his last two games and continues to play great at home. He’s averaging 42 fantasy points at home compared to 35 on the road. At home, playing the worst defense in the league, and a team on a back-to-back? Things are coming up perfect for DeRozan to have a monster night. *****

Donovan Mitchell, UTA at OKC ($7,100): Despite having one of the top defenses in the league, the Thunder rank 25th against the position in their last 15 games. Mitchell has been at 35 fantasy points or higher in three of his last five, including a 53.5 point game against the Pelicans. His minutes were down against Washington due to the uncompetitive nature of the game, which hurt his overall numbers. The game against the Thunder should be much more competitive and Mitchell is the top perimeter scoring option who can pick up threes and assists. ****

High Value SG

Norman Powell, TOR vs PHO ($4,000): Powell’s minutes have been up-and-down in the last week, but he’s been a consistent performer, only missing out on value once in his last five games. He’s been at 20+ fantasy points in four of his last five and minutes should not be an issue against the Suns. He typically gets his scoring numbers, it’s just a matter of what he picks up in other categories. ****

Pat Connaughton, POR vs WAS ($3,600): Connaughton has been over 20 fantasy points in three of his last four games. The Wizards are eighth against the position, but they looked lifeless on Monday against the Jazz. I wouldn’t expect their defense to be that bad again, but if it is, Connaughton is the perfect role player to step up for the Blazers and pick up points. ***
