Oakland Raiders (+4) at Kansas City Chiefs

I laughed when I saw this line, like for reals. Why are the Chiefs laying points to anybody? They are awful and the only team they have beaten since Week 5 was the disgustingly bad Denver Broncos. Yes, this is a revenge game for the Chiefs, but I’m taking the Oakland Raiders getting four points all day.

I do like the Raiders to win this game. They have found balance offensively with Marshawn Lynch running the ball like the Beast Mode of old. The Raiders pass rush has been wrecking bad teams of late. Even the secondary is starting to improve with John Pagano as the interim defensive coordinator. Oakland is 4-2 in its last six games, while Kansas City is 1-6 in its last seven.

That’s really all you need to know. Sure, the Raiders could snooze through the first half of the game. This is a 10:00 a.m. PT start time for the Silver and Black, so that could totally happen. That being said, this is the Raiders’ biggest rival and a chance for them to complete the season sweep of the Chiefs. By doing that, they’ll improve to 7-6 and possibly in first place all by themselves, depending on how the Los Angeles Chargers’ game versus the Washington Redskins goes.

Even if the Raiders don’t win, I expect this game to be decided by a field goal or less. The Raiders won on the last second of the game by a point over the Chiefs back on Thursday Night Football in Week 7. Oakland is trending up and getting points, while Kansas City has cratered and is laying points. Come on!
