10 WWE storylines in 2017 that made wrestling better

9. The Fashion Files
Go ahead and laugh at this entry if you like but Tyler Breeze and Fandango have struck gold with The Fashion Files and it’s going to be so sad when it goes away. Let’s face it. These two are never going to be in the main-event picture. It’s just not in the cards for them and that’s okay. Not everyone is going to be WWE Champion. However, instead of just sitting around and pouting about not getting TV time, Breeze and ‘Dango took it upon themselves to create these characters and it’s been extremely entertaining.
When Fandango got injured earlier this year, Tyler Breeze was a little stuck. It wasn’t clear how long his partner was going to be out so creative asked him to come up with some ideas and he decided that he wanted to shoot some promos for WWE.com about how he was a cop looking for Fandango and everything just went from there. After a while, the promos were catching on and it was decided that it was just too entertaining to keep off of SmackDown Live and here we are.
Their parody of Twin Peaks, aptly named “Fashion Peaks”, got them a lot of attention on the national stage and since then, Breezango has found success in segments parodying Miami Vice, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and Stranger Things. There’s always been a place in WWE for this sort of thing and I know I’m not alone when I say that it’s hilarious. This is a case of two guys taking their spot on the low end of the card and doing everything they can to build themselves up. They’ve credited Road Dogg for helping them with some things and encouraging them to stick with it and while it has to come to an end at some point, I don’t see anything wrong with taking this into 2018.
