High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook, OKC at NY ($11,500): Westbrook had 78.5 fantasy points against the Sixers, marking a season high for the reigning MVP. It was a triple overtime game, and while Westbrook rarely tires, the game certainly took its toll on him. He’s still struggling with his shot, but he impacts the game in so many ways and always gets his numbers. He’s a bit risky given how much he played on Friday, but he always finds a way to fill up the boxscore and should be at value at worst. ***

Chris Paul, HOU vs MIL ($8,600): Paul has posted back-to-back 62 fantasy point games. He’s clearly over his injury and comfortable in the Houston offense, which is bad news for the rest of the league. It’s especially bad news for the Bucks, who are 24th against the position in their last 15 games. Paul can put up numbers in all categories. While he may not be at 62 fantasy points again, his low salary makes him an easy play on Saturday night. He should be well over value once again. *****

Kyrie Irving, BOS at MEM ($7,800): Following his 51.25 fantasy point game against Denver, Irving had 47 fantasy points against the Jazz. The Grizzlies are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. Most of Irving’s value comes from his ability to score and knockdown threes, but he has picked up his playmaking. Both teams are on a back-to-back, so that shouldn’t be too much of an issue. The Grizzlies continue to look all out of sorts, despite their victory over Atlanta on Friday night. ****
