FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 16, 2017
High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook, OKC at NY ($11,100): Westbrook continues to struggle from the field, but he still collects rebounds and assists better than any point guard in the league. After playing a triple overtime game against the Sixers, it’s likely that Westbrook is on tired legs in this one. However, the Knicks rank 25th against the position in their last 15 games. If Kristaps Porzingis is out, that takes away New York’s best rim protector, which should free up Westbrook to get points and assists in the paint. He’s been at value more often than not this year and is always a threat to have a monster game. ***
Chris Paul, HOU vs MIL ($9,600): Paul hit a season-high 65.8 fantasy points against the Spurs on Friday. He looks 100 percent following his injury that kept him out early in the season and he’s found his place in the Rockets offense. The Bucks are sixth against the position in their last 15 games, but they have not faced an offense like the Rockets. Paul puts up numbers in all categories and only increases his value with his defensive ability. *****
Kyrie Irving, BOS at MEM ($8,400): Irving followed up his 50.7 fantasy point game against the Nuggets with 44.8 fantasy points against the Jazz. Scoring isn’t typically an issue for the Celtics point guard and he’s returned to being the playmaker that he was earlier in the season. The Grizzlies are 16th against the position and are still a bit of a mess as an overall team. ****
