High Value PG

Ricky Rubio, UTA at CLE ($4,900): Rubio needs 20.7 fantasy points to hit value on Saturday thanks a low salary. He’d been around that number in four of his last five, until Friday when he had 38.9 fantasy points. He’s mainly relied on his scoring and rebounding to boost his value as his assist numbers are down far more than anyone could have predicted this season. This is a tough matchup for Rubio, but his low salary allows him to be above value if he plays to his potential. ***

J.J. Barea, DAL at SA ($5,600): Barea continues to provide the Mavericks with strong guard play off the bench. He had 31.2 fantasy points against the Spurs on Tuesday. With Dennis Smith Jr. scheduled to miss this game, Barea should see increased minutes once again. He’s been at value or better in 72 percent of games this season. He puts up numbers in every offensive category and may find an easier go of things if the Spurs decide to rest certain guys. ****

Frank Ntilikina, NY vs OKC ($5,100): Ntilikina has seen a big increase in minutes this month and his production has been a big reason why. He’s developed some consistency in recent weeks, posting four straight 20+ fantasy point games. With a tired Thunder group in front of him, Ntilikina has a chance to be nicely above value given his scoring and passing ability. The Thunder are 15th against the position in their last 15 games. He should be at value (21.5 fantasy points) and his young legs might propel him to his first 30 fantasy points game of his career. ****
