FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 22, 2017
High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook, OKC vs ATL ($11,500): Even in blowouts, Westbrook gets his numbers. He had 57.5 fantasy points in 28 minutes on Wednesday against the Jazz. He’s starting to shoot better, lock in more defensively, and still collect a high number of assists and rebounds. The Hawks are the worst team in the league and there’s little doubt that Westbrook will have a big night. If the game is close, that only increases his value. *****
John Wall, WAS at BKN ($9,500): Wall has been right around value in his last three games. He’s missed it in two of those three, but by less than 2.5 fantasy points in once one. He’s starting to play his regulars minutes following the injury, which is a good sign. The Nets are 27th against the position in their last 15 games. Once he regains his scoring touch, we can expect his usual 40+ fantasy point games. Until then, he’s still good for plenty of assists, solid rebounding numbers, and a couple of defensive plays. ****
Lonzo Ball, LAL at GS ($7,400): After an inconsistent start to the season, Ball has settled in nicely in Los Angeles. He’s been at value or better in five of his last six games. He had 39.2 fantasy points against the Warriors on Monday. Golden State ranks 25th against the position in their last 15 games. Ball has increased his scoring while continuing to contribute in other areas. If recent play is any indication, he should be 6+ fantasy points over value. ****
