High Value PG

Dennis Smith Jr., DAL at MIA ($5,300): Smith Jr. returned to action on Wednesday and had 27.5 fantasy points in 21 minutes. He should be back up to his usual 25-27 minutes in this one. The Heat have one of the better defenses in the league, but are 18th against the position in their last 15 games. He can do a little bit of everything and given his low salary, is a great player to buy low on while you can. ****

Ish Smith, DET vs NY ($4,400): The Knicks are 23rd against the position in their last 15 games and are on a back-to-back. The starters saw some rest in that one, but Smith will be mostly up against the backups, who played heavy minutes on Thursday night. Smith has outplayed Reggie Jackson in recent contests, can do a bit of everything offensively, and should see plenty of minutes to go to work. ***

Milos Teodosic, LAC at HOU ($5,200): Despite not scoring much, Teodosic has been a solid fantasy play. He picks up value thanks to his rebounding and passing ability. The Rockets are third against point guards in their last 15 games, but Teodosic typically plays the shooting guard role in the starting unit. The Rockets are 29th against shooting guards in their last 15 games. If Teodosic can get his shot to fall, he’s going to put up 30+ fantasy points with relative ease. ***
