One New Year’s resolution for every NBA team
Phoenix Suns – Find a reason to love yourself
They say it’s impossible for someone to love you if you don’t love yourself. Well, I despise the Suns for some reason, and I’ll assume lack of self-love is the reason. That’s right. I’m going to put it on them.
Sometimes I look at the Suns roster and ask each individual player “What’s the point of you?” They never respond because they are names on a computer screen, and I don’t ask the question out loud. A couple of stumbling blocks there.
Even if the question was answerable in a literal sense, I’m not sure the answers I’d receive would be worth it. I’ll have to make some up.
Tyson Chandler, Greg Monroe, Dragan Bender, and Alex Len should all be on the floor with Tyler Ulis at the same time for at least 12 minutes a game. I would watch that. I do not want to watch any of these players separately. Maybe Bender because he has a cool name.
Devin Booker scores every point in a basketball game. It was cool to see him score 70 in a 130-120, but wouldn’t it be even cooler to see him score 90 in a 150-90 loss? Probably, I guess! The most annoying part of the game last year were the conversations about whether or not the team was padding his stats at the expense of the greater good. Of course they were, but I guess we need another game that makes it more obvious.
Also, Brandon Knight should play center. That’s enough reasons, I think.
