High Salary PG

Damian Lillard, POR vs PHI ($8,800): After missing a couple of games prior to the Christmas break, Lillard has been cleared to return from his hamstring injury on Thursday. There are no reports of a minutes restriction, which is a good sign for his value. Lillard should be well-rested, having a week off. The Sixers are 21st against the position in their last 15 games. Lillard wasn’t setting the world on fire prior to his injury, missing value in three of five. His scoring numbers are down as he’s failed to crack 20 points in four of those games. He had 39.6 fantasy points against the Sixers on Nov. 22. He should be around value, but it’s tough to think he’ll be much higher given his recent play. ***

Kyrie Irving, BOS vs HOU ($8,600): After missing value against the Wizards, Irving was right at value against the Hornets on Wednesday. His scoring numbers are down, but he’s made up some of that value with his playmaking ability. The Celtics are on a back-to-back. Irving has performed right around value in back-to-back matchups, which is where I expect him to be on Thursday. If this thing becomes a shootout, that would help Irving’s value. ***

Eric Bledsoe, MIL vs MIN ($7,600): Bledsoe has hit value in three of his last four. He was .3 fantasy points away from making it four straight. The Timberwolves are fifth against the position in their last 15 games, but they’re on a back-to-back and their overall defense remains near the bottom of the league. Bledsoe and the Bucks should be able to take advantage of a tired Timberwolves squad. ****
