High Salary PG

Damian Lillard, POR vs ATL ($8,700): Lillard returned from injury and managed 30 fantasy points against the Cavaliers. He’s listed as a game-time decision with a right calf strain, but he’s marked probable, which is a good sign for his status. Assuming he plays, he’s walking into a good matchup with the Hawks, who rank 24th against the position in their last 15 games. Lillard should be able to put up big scoring and assist numbers against a weak Atlanta defense. The only concern is his injury. ****

Kemba Walker, CHA at LAL ($8,000): The Lakers are a team in shambles right now. This is the end of a long west coast road trip for the Hornets, where Walker has been at value in all three games thus far. It’s possible the Hornets have tired legs, but even that shouldn’t slow them down against a Lakers team that can’t stop a nosebleed. Until the Lakers prove they can slow down the opposition, take advantage of them. *****

Kyle Lowry, TOR at MIL ($7,500): Lowry had 45.2 fantasy points against the Bucks on Monday. His assist numbers are down in recent games, which is a bit worrying. He’s dropped off since his hot streak in November, but he’s been over value in three of his last five and remains the straw that stirs the Raptors offense. The Bucks are 20th against the position in their last 15 games and Lowry’s success on Monday bodes well for Friday’s contest. ****
