High Value PG

J.J. Barea, DAL vs CHI ($5,900): Barea has been at value or better in seven of his last eight games. He’s been a reliable play all season, hitting value in 74 percent of contests. You know what you’re getting from Barea. He’s going to give you a minimum of 25 fantasy points and there’s always a chance he jumps over 30 fantasy points if he’s hot or his teammates are making good on his passes. ***

Tyler Johnson, MIA vs NY ($5,800): Johnson posted 10.1 fantasy points against the Pistons on Wednesday. Prior that Wednesday’s game, he had been at value or better in six of his last seven. The Knicks are 26th against the position in their last 15 games, so this is a great matchup for Johnson. He had 25.7 fantasy points against the Knicks on Nov. 29. Expect him to have a strong bounce back game against a less than stellar Knicks defense. ****

Jordan Clarkson, LAL vs CHA ($4,900): Clarkson has missed value in his last three due to a sudden drop in playing time. If Lonzo Ball returns on Friday, I like Clarkson even more because he can return to that secondary playmaking and scoring role behind Ball. The Hornets are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games and Clarkson had 38 fantasy points against the Hornets on Dec. 9. ****
