High Value PG

Ish Smith, DET vs BKN ($6,000): Smith has hit value in three of his last four. The Nets are last against point guards in their last 15 games. Smith has been solid as the starter on Detroit, hitting value in 60 percent of games. However, one of those misses came on Jan. 10 against Brooklyn. He posted 20.5 fantasy points in 24 minutes in that contest. I would expect him to have a bounce back performance just because of had the Nets have been against perimeter players all season. ***

Jordan Clarkson, LAL vs NY ($5,800): It looked like Clarkson had fallen out of the rotation in Los Angeles. Then he drops 51.75 fantasy points against the Pacers and now it looks like he’s the top scoring option off the bench again. Figuring out who Luke Walton is going to play and who is going to play well for the Lakers right now is a tough game. Clarkson had 24 fantasy points against the Knicks on Dec. 12. I assume he’ll get minutes and opportunities based on his last game, but I have a hard time trusting anyone on the Lakers until after the trade deadline. **

Avery Bradley, DET vs BKN ($5,500): Bradley had 23 fantasy points in 25 minutes against the Nets on Jan. 10. He’s been a disappointment this season, hitting value in just 47 percent of games. He’s been specially inconsistent following his return from injury in January. The matchup projects well for him and he needs 24.8 fantasy points to hit value. I think he’ll be around 25 fantasy points in this one. ***
