High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook, OKC at DEN ($11,300): Westbrook was a rare miss on Tuesday, posting 42 fantasy points against the Wizards. He struggled with his shot, scoring 13 points in that contest. It’s highly unlikely that he’s held to less than 20 points in back-to-back contests. He had 65.25 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Dec. 18. That said, he did score 13 points in the Nov. 9 game against Denver, so I guess it’s possible that he has trouble scoring again. I wouldn’t bet on it, though. ****

Chris Paul, HOU at SA ($9,100): Paul is currently listed as questionable, but he’s your only other high salary choice on Thursday. Tyreke Evans is being held out, John Wall is out, and Eric Bledsoe is doubtful. Obviously, check Paul’s status before making any decisions. If he does play, he should be right around 40 fantasy points. I don’t love him coming off the injury and Harden is certainly the better option of the two. But Paul is reliable enough to produce a solid game. ***

Kyle Lowry, TOR at WAS ($7,400): Lowry has been just over value in his last two. He’s averaging 16.5 fantasy points in 22.5 minutes against the Wizards this season. You can toss the 4.75 fantasy point game on Nov. 5 out the window as he ejected 12 minutes into the game. The 28.75 fantasy point game in 33 minutes on Nov. 19 is a bit more concerning. No John Wall should make Lowry’s job easier. He needs 32.2 fantasy points to hit value and I like him to be right around that number. ***
