High Salary SG

DeMar DeRozan, TOR vs NY ($8,500): DeRozan has missed value in his last two. Expect him to bounce back on Thursday given the matchup. The Knicks are reeling with injuries to their two best players. They could be missing a key piece like Courtney Lee after Thursday’s deadline. On top of that, they are 26th against shooting guards in their last 15 games. DeRozan needs 37.4 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. Expect him to push 40 fantasy points given the matchup and circumstances. *****
Steph Curry, GS vs DAL ($9,900): Curry has missed value in four straight. This is not sustainable. Curry is averaging 51.6 fantasy points in two games against the Mavericks this season, included a 53.75 fantasy point effort on Jan. 3. If Kevin Durant, currently listed as questionable with a hand injury, is unable to play, that’s great news for Curry. He’s too good to continue to struggle the way he’s currently struggling. The matchup is good and Curry will cash in. ****

Nicolas Batum, CHA at POR ($6,600): It’s unknown what the Hornets will look like after Thursday’s deadline. If Kemba Walker is gone, that means Batum is the primary option on the Charlotte perimeter. If Walker is still there, Batum should do anything to be over value. He needs 29.1 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. He always performs well against his former team, averaging 37.1 fantasy points in his last three games against Portland. He’ll be over 30 fantasy point with or without Walker. He could push 40 fantasy points without. ****
