After the Olympics snowboarding men’s slopestyle qualifiers wrap up on Friday evening, Eastern Time, the women will be up on Saturday as they attempt to advance to the slopestyle final.

The women’s slopestyle qualifier will air after the men’s final, so if you want to catch it live, you’ll have to drink a couple cups of coffee.

The women will begin their qualification runs at 11:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, and the second run won’t get underway until after midnight.

All the information you need to watch the women’s slopestyle qualifiers is below, as well as a preview of the athletes who will hope to advance to the final round on Feb. 11.

The entire Olympic snowboarding schedule can be found here.

How to Watch:

TV: NBC, NBCSN

Live Stream: NBCOlympics.com

App: NBC Sports

Date: Saturday, Feb. 10

Start Time: 11:30 p.m. ET

What to Watch:

Unlike the qualifying round for men’s slopestyle, which features two heats of riders and two runs, the women aren’t divided into heats. Thus, there are only two events to watch:

  • Women’s Slopestyle Qualification Run 1 (11:30 p.m. ET)
  • Women’s Slopestyle Qualification Run 2 (12:23 a.m. ET)

There are 28 women competing in the women’s slopestyle event, while there are 38 men, hence the need for two heats in the men’s discipline.

12 women will move on after Saturday’s qualifier. In qualification, the best single run determines who moves on, whereas the highest single run score wins in the finals.

The countries with the best chance of medaling in the event are Austria, thanks to Anna Gasser, and the United States, which has a powerhouse in Jamie Anderson, Hailey Langland and Julia Marino.

This is only the second time slopestyle has been featured on the Olympic programme after it made its debut at the 2014 Sochi Games.
