8. LaVar Ball Pinata

Everyone has taken shots at LaVar Ball since he started opening his mouth and forming words with it. The wordnoises he makes are generally not good, but people seem to like reading about them and reading about what other people think about them. They’re a phonetic car crash, and holy moly do we love disasters.

But some people in the NBA haven’t gotten the proper chance to respond to the idea that Lonzo is the best player in the NBA, or that Lonzo and his two brothers playing on the same team would bring championship after championship, or that for the most part sexism is A-Okay. Maybe they didn’t have the proper opportunity or couldn’t make themselves be heard, but whatever the case everyone deserves the chance.

What’s more fun than a pinata? Well, a lot of things, but how often do you get rewarded with candy for hitting a thing with a stick? Very rarely, and that’s fun.

Now the design of the Pinata can go a lot of different ways. It could be just his head or it could be the full body in Big Baller garb. Regardless of the approach, a quick whap with a plastic stick is a great way to tell the world just what you think of the idea that that kid with the broken jump shot and his two little brothers are somehow poised to not just take your spot but take over the basketball world. And I would enjoy seeing it. Maybe we could pop in a Skip Bayless in there too. I don’t think there’s any complications here whatsoever.
