South Korea’s favorite event continues with the women’s 3,000-meter relay in short track speedskating. Here’s how you can watch online or by live stream.
The women’s 3,000-meter relay in Olympic short track speedskating will host the final, medal-deciding races on Tuesday, Feb. 20 in the morning stateside and primetime in Pyeongchang. The event begins at 6:05 a.m. ET with the first of two finals sessions. The relay is a crazy fun event to watch, given that so many skaters are on the ice at the same time. There are so many moving parts and it’s pure chaos.
It should come as no surprise that South Korea is the gold medal favorite in the country’s favorite sport. China and Canada are the expected to fill out the podium. (South Korea won their qualifier after a nasty crash and set a new record. China proceeded to break that record in the very next qualifier.) China, Italy, South Korea and Canada qualified for Final A while the Netherlands, Japan, Hungary and Olympic Athletes of Russia qualified for Final B. Medals are awarded based on the results of Final A.
NBC will provide a live stream for the 3,000-meter relay final in the early hours of Tuesday, but will also likely re-run the event during the day, as has been their strategy for most of the short track and speedskating events. You can watch on NBC’s TV timetable, through live stream or online replay, or through services like FuboTV.
