Philadelphia Eagles free agency 2018: Top 5 targets
2. Nigel Bradham
Jordan Hicks tore his Achilles early in the season. He will return in the middle and hopefully as the player he was before injury, but in Hicks’ absence, Bradham became an every down linebacker along with Mychal Kendricks. The Eagles have quite a bit invested in Kendricks, but they could consider trading him and creating another $4.4 million in cap space.
Bradham and Hicks deserve playing time over Kendricks, but there are teams out there with an abundance of cap space that might be willing to take Kendricks off the Eagles’ hands.
Bradham runs very well and had a very good year for Philadelphia, but if the Eagles can’t move Kendricks, it will be awfully tough to bring Bradham back. Ideally though, they swap Bradham for Kendricks and pick up another draft choice in the process as Kendricks leaves town.
