The Broncos opted to move on from tackle Donald Stephenson last week, meaning they’ll be in the market for his replacement on draft day. Western Michigan’s Chukwuma Okorafor could be a good fit early for the Broncos in the second round.

Okorafor is massive (6-foot-6 and 330 pounds) and figures to have a spot to play either tackle spot at the pro level, though he may be best suited for the right side. His length and hand strength are ideal for the position even despite getting a late start to playing football in general. I like Okorafor’s quick feet in his pass pro sets and even though he won’t be much of a mauler in the run game, I think he’s a nice developmental prospect in the second round.

Getting Nelson in the first round and Okorafor in the second would immediately give the Broncos one of the best young offensive line combos in the league. The price to find line help via free agency gets seemingly steeper by the year and if Denver can get this type of talent for cheap with their first two selections in the draft, they’ll be well on their way to a much better season on offense in 2018.
