4. Nate Solder

The biggest need for the Seahawks, as was mentioned in the number five pick on this list, is obviously in the offensive line. While the offensive line is and has been a huge problem for the Seahawks, the bigger problem is the team hasn’t properly addressed the issue over the last few years.

The team could use the help at literally any spot in their offensive line, and they need more of what Duane Brown gives them when protecting the quarterback or rushing attack. They can’t afford (no pun intended) to be cheap with their signings or draft picks this offseason, and can’t make the same mistake they made with Luke Joeckel’s deal.

The Seahawks have already missed the boat when it comes to making a big splash with offensive linemen this offseason, with former Carolina Panthers lineman Andrew Norwell, the golden prize for any team searching for help this offseason, likely on his way to the New York Giants. Most of the best players at the position are already scooped up, but one solid talent remains: former New England Patriots tackle Nate Solder.

Of course, it’ll be tough to put Brown and Solder in the same offensive line due to the fact they play the same position. However, they’re both talented enough to invest money in and make it work for the next few years. Solder has succeeded protecting Tom Brady’s blindside for the Patriots over the years, and even just trying to move him to left guard this season could be a useful move to improve the Seahawks offense.
