One player who has really risen up draft boards over the course of the year is Florida defensive lineman, Taven Bryan. With the Gators, Bryan played inside and made a name for himself against larger opponents in the trenches.

He’s one of those prospects that doesn’t exactly fit the mold size wise of an interior lineman. His draft position is going to come down to where exactly teams see him at the next level. Is he going to remain inside, or will he be moved outside?

What can’t be understated is the athleticism he carries at 6’4″ and 291 pounds. To be able to exist on the inside with a slimmer frame for the position, Bryan had to use his freakish athletic ability to succeed.

He finished his final year with the Gators with 40 tackles and 4 sacks. He showed that he could use his speed and agility to get to the quarterback from the inside. If he’s going to stay inside at the next level, he’ll probably have to add a little bit more size.

At the combine, Bryan ran a 4.98 40-yard dash and put up 30 reps on the bench press. He looks like one of those players that could potentially sneak into the 20’s of the first round, depending on where teams see him as a fit.
