Ronda Rousey picked up her first career victory, defeating Stephanie McMahon and Triple H alongside Kurt Angle at WWE WrestleMania 34.

Walking to the ring in the late Rowdy Roddy Piper’s jacket, Ronda Rousey made her wrestling debut at WWE WrestleMania 34 on Sunday night. It also marked the return to WrestleMania for Kurt Angle after being absent in the ring from the event for over a decade.

Stephanie McMahon would try to get under the skin of Rousey, attacking her from behind before the match could officially begin. When the bell officially rang, Kurt Angle and Triple H got things started.

Much like his wife, Triple H utilized several cheap shots as well against the fallen Angle. After controlling the pace of the match, he hit Angle with a devastating spinebuster as Rousey watched from the corner.

Triple H had a close call with Stephanie in a bit of a call back to the previous WrestleMania. As McMahon tried to hold Kurt Angle against the ropes, Triple H attempted to punch him but Angle ducked and he nearly punched his wife.

However, Stephanie rebounded quickly and ran across the ring to attack Rousey. Finally, Rousey made her way into the match and she came absolutely unleashed. She planted Stephanie in the corner and began unloading with several strikes.

As Stephanie pleaded for mercy, Ronda began tossing her around the ring. With Stephanie pinned to the mat, she managed to counter the former UFC Champion in improbable fashion. In impressive fashion, Stephanie landed a huge DDT.

Stephanie kept taunting her, and that turned out to be a mistake, as Ronda caught her around the neck and slammed her around her shoulders. Just as she was about to pick up the win in her first match, Triple H pulled the ref out of the ring, then Rousey.

Angle and Triple H began brawling over the announce tables. As Triple H rolled back in the ring, Rousey wanted a piece of Triple H for pulling her out of the ring. She began unloading on Triple H with a flurry of punches before lifting him in the air.

Back in the ring, Angle and Triple H exchanged offense that saw Angle land the Angle Slam on Triple H, before the WWE COO kicked out. With the straps down, Angle attempted to place Triple H in an ankle lock, with Stephanie once again saving her husband.

Angle would have no mercy for his boss, as he placed Stephanie in an ankle lock. Triple H hit Angle with a pedigree, but Rousey broke up the pin attempt to keep the match alive. Triple H then attempted to pedigree Ronda Rousey, who pulled off an impressive hurricarana counter.

She turned it into an armbar, and Triple H had nowhere to go as he hung on. For a third time in the match, Stephanie would have to save her husband. However, she then got her chance to end up in an armbar, while Kurt Angle simultaneously put Triple H in an ankle lock at the same time.

Triple H countered the hold and sent Angle right into Rousey to save his team.  Then husband and wife went for a dual Pedigree on both of their opponents, which failed. For a second time, Rousey locked Stephanie into the armbar, which caused McMahon to tap and gave Rousey the win in her in-ring debut.

After the match, Dana White began celebrating Rousey’s big win in attendance at WrestleMania. The UFC president was on hand to support her as he she made her debut.
