2. Home ice and a city behind them

Teams don’t like coming to play hockey in Winnipeg, and that’s a fact. Just ask Justin Braun and Tomas Hertl of the San Jose Sharks. The pair of Sharks refereed to the city as “dark and cold,” “questionable” and pondered “whether it even had WiFi.” Let’s put those comments into perspective; teams hate playing in Winnipeg, and there’s a reason for that. The reason being, that this is a true Canadian hockey town that stands behind its team and helps propel them to victories on home ice.

With the second seed in the Central Division in hand, the Jets have secured home ice advantage for the playoffs. On home ice this season, the Jets have a league best 30-7-2 record. Any team that comes to play Winnipeg in the playoffs is in trouble. Similar to their last post season appearance in 2015, watch the Jets whiteout be in full effect, albeit with a much better team. Not only are the Jets players ready for a Stanley Cup, but the city and fans are, too.
