Man, WWE WrestleMania 34 played out in ways that seemingly few expected. But perhaps the biggest surprise of the night came in the main event. Most everyone foresaw Brock Lesnar — with rumors abound that he might be leaving the company — losing the Universal Championship to Roman Reigns. Instead, The Beast Incarnate won and will carry the belt into the RAW after WrestleMania on Monday night.

There is always excitement about the pay-per-view itself, but the excitement around the RAW after WrestleMania always surpasses it. It’s a night for debuts, surprises, returns and setting the stage for the next year in WWE storytelling. There are few nights better in the world of pro wrestling.

And there is a lot to take shape after Mania on Sunday night.
