Bruins vs. Maple Leafs live stream, Game 1: TV schedule, online and more

The Boston Bruins host the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 1 of their first-round series. Here’s everything you need to know to watch.
As Original 6 franchises, the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs have a long and storied history. The two teams last met in the playoffs in 2013. The Bruins held a 3-1 series lead but the Leafs were able to force Game 7. The Maples Leafs lead 4-1 with 11 minutes remaining but could not hold onto the lead. Patrice Bergeron tied the game with 51 seconds remaining to force overtime and scored the winner 6:05 into the extra period.
The Bruins finished the season with the fourth most points in the NHL this season but lost their last game of the season, finishing second in the Atlantic Division. Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak and Bergeron all scored more than 30 goals this season. Boston will lean on those three players as their primary offense and hope that the other lines can generate scoring chances. Bruce Cassidy will likely try to match up Zdeno Chara up against the Auston Matthews line. Even at 40-years-old, the hulking defenseman is still one of the best defenders in the game. Cassidy will also try matching Bergeron’s line against Matthews as much as possible. Bergeron could be a finalist for his fifth career Selke Trophy as the NHL’s best two-way forward. Only Los Angeles and Nashville allowed fewer goals in the regular season than the Bruins.
Matthews, Nazem Kadri and James van Riemsdyk all scored more than 30 goals, while Mitch Marner, William Nylander, and Patrick Marleau all scored more than 20 goals. Offensively, the Leafs are loaded with talented players and scored the second most goals in the regular season. However, their defense is questionable and their third pairing could be a liability in the playoffs.

In goal, Tuukka Rask, and Frederik Andersen posted almost identical save percentages. However, Andersen faced almost 700 more shots and fatigue could be an issue for the Danish goalie.
