Spurs-Warriors (Warriors Lead 1-0)

High Salary (Spurs)

LaMarcus Aldridge ($9,700): Aldridge is the Spurs offense and if Game One is any indication, he’s going to have a rough time this series. The Warriors sent a hard double at him every time he touched the ball and dared other players to beat them. No one could beat them. He remains the best option on San Antonio, but it’s tough finding positives after Game One and with Aldridge’s lack of postseason success. **

High Salary (Warriors)

Kevin Durant ($11,800): Durant finished Game One with 46.1 fantasy points, coming in slightly under value due to a lack of minutes. It’s obvious the Spurs have no answer for Durant, and unless Danny Green gets taller or more athletic, Durant will continue to have his way. The salary is high and it’s possible he once again doesn’t see enough minutes. ****

Draymond Green ($8,200): Green had 44.1 fantasy points in Game One. He’s not much of a scorer, but a lot of their offense runs through him as Durant and Thompson get open through screens and the playmaking of Green. He also contributes on the glass and with defense. Playoffs are his time to shine and this is an easy matchup for him to take advantage of. ****

Klay Thompson ($6,700): Thompson continues to be an excellent second option, especially at this price. He gets his shots in the Warriors offense and given the quality of looks, there’s a good chance he’s going to make those shots. Most of his value is tied to scoring, but scoring isn’t really an issue for him in this series. ****

High Value (Spurs)

Rudy Gay ($5,800): The Spurs need scoring and Gay, if nothing else, provides scoring. There’s simply not a whole lot to like on the San Antonio roster. And even at this salary Gay comes with a little bit of a risk. But points matter and he contributes on the glass. ***

Dejounte Murray ($6,100): The Spurs are going to roll with Murray, for better or worse. Just due to the minutes he receives, he’s a solid bet to contribute. But who knows how much he’ll contribute. **

High Value (Warriors)

JaVale McGee ($4,500): McGee gave the Warriors solid minutes in Game One and he’s given them solid minutes against the Spurs all season. Gregg Popovich is going to let McGee beat them if he can. At least in Game One, he showed he can. And the Warriors have belief in him, if nothing else. ***

Andre Iguodala ($4,800): He drew the start in Game One, and while he played his usual minutes, the simple fact of starting and playing more minutes alongside the three All-Stars was a big benefit. Take whoever starts at point for the Warriors.

Other Players

San Antonio: Much like Sixers-Heat, everyone is going to pound Warriors players on Monday. I’m still on the Kyle Anderson ($4,700) train. His success against the Warriors is too good for me to ignore. He’s going to have an impact at some point in this series. Otherwise, even at low salaries, there’s just not a lot to like on San Antonio. Maybe Manu Ginobili ($4,400) turns back the clock again, but you can’t trust that. Danny Green ($3,800) sees enough minutes to contribute, which counts for something.

Golden State: Quinn Cook ($5,500) could be a great option at this salary if he ends up starting. Kevon Looney ($4,100) continues to give them solid production off the bench. The same goes for Shaun Livingston ($3,800).
