Arsenal lost their fifth straight road match last week at the hands of Newcastle, stunting their charge for fifth place in the table. They now sit in sixth, six points behind their London rival Chelsea. The Gunners, aside from their road form, have been clicking very well recently. Their striker tandem of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette is producing and their defense has somewhat shaped up from its form earlier in the season. A win over a somewhat surging West Ham side would be a big win for Arsenal in the process of securing a top-six finish.

West Ham have been on an upward trajectory since hiring David Moyes. He has gotten more out of the star players than Slaven Bilic did and it is pretty obvious. Players such as Chicharito and Marko Arnautovic have only gotten better as the season has worn on. Once they seemed like a relegation candidate, but the Hammers now sit seven points clear of the drop zone. Moyes and his squad have done a great job of grinding out results and even caught some teams by surprise, like Chelsea. If West Ham keep playing at the level they have been, they can easily sneak out of the Emirates with a victory.
