An exciting Day 1 of the NFL draft has wrapped up but we’re just getting started. Here’s a look at what time Day 2 begins.

After an extremely exciting Day 1 of the 2018 NFL Draft, it’s easy to forget we’ve still got six more rounds to go. The draft takes us all the way through Saturday with an endless amount of NFL action.

Day 2 of the draft consists of rounds two and three. While they don’t usually compare to the anticipation that round one brings, they’re still extremely important. Teams aren’t defined by their first round picks and front offices are actively planning to target the best players heading into rounds two and three.

Day 2 will kick off at 7 p.m. ET tonight from Dallas, Texas, one hour earlier than Day 1.

Don’t count out the talent that can be found. Just last year running backs Kareem Hunt and Alvin Kamara were selected in the third round. Both went on to have incredible seasons and Kamara was named Offensive Rookie of the Year. Looking back, the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints found first-round talent in the third round. Now teams are looking to find similar gems in this class.

Expect plenty of more trades, slides, rises, and everything that encompasses an extremely crazy draft process. The run on quarterbacks won’t be just limited to the first round. Prospects like Mason Rudolph, Kyle Lauletta, and others have offer intriguing options as future franchise signal callers.
