High Salary C

Joel Embiid ($9,400): Much like LeBron, Embiid didn’t feel he played well in Game 1. Also like LeBron, he had a huge fantasy game, posting 54.1 fantasy points. He’s the biggest matchup problem for the Celtics and he showed why in Game 1. Boston will be fine with letting Embiid get his if it means limiting their shooters. *****

Al Horford ($7,700): Horford continued his consistent play with 38.4 fantasy points in Game 1. His salary has dropped, which helps his cause heading into Game 2. He’s been great at home all postseason and that won’t change in Game 2. ****

Jonas Valanciunas ($7,000): Valanciunas has been a monster in the last three games for Toronto. He’s a handful for the Cavaliers after being a non-factor in previous season. Expect him to dominate the glass and the paint once again, unless his confidence is shot after those misses at the end of Game 1. ****

High Value C

Tristan Thompson ($4,500): Thompson is going to get minutes as the Cavaliers need a big body to deal with Valanciunas. He also has the benefit of playing alongside LeBron James for many years, so he’s able to make himself available for easy points. He’s your best low cost option if you want points at center while spending elsewhere.
