5. West Brom continue fine form with win over Tottenham

Darren Moore took over from Alan Pardew when the ex-Crystal Palace manager was sacked after a horrendous period in charge of the Baggies. Moore has turned the club’s form around and miraculously West Brom can still stay up.

The results that would need to go their way in the last two weekends are quite ridiculous and it’s almost certainly not going to happen, but at least the club have shown some promise for their probable relegation to the Championship.

This weekend, the Baggies welcome Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham to the Hawthorns. Spurs are now fighting for a top four finish and they should get it but in West Brom they will have a very tough match.

Moore’s side look resolute at the back and have shown strong attacking intent since he took over, with wins over Manchester United and Newcastle as well as an impressive home draw with Liverpool.

Even if they win this weekend the Baggies could still go down but they’ll certainly have shown their potential for the 2018-19 season, whether that’s in the top flight or the Championship.
