4. Mohamed Salah scores against old club Chelsea

One of the biggest stories of this Premier League season has been Mohamed Salah’s outstanding return to England’s top flight. The Egyptian had a spell with Chelsea between 2013 and 2014 but it was short-lived and he quickly found himself shipped off to Italy.

In Serie A, he managed 35 goals in 81 appearances and this sparked great interest in securing his services. Liverpool were the lucky ones and the rest of the big clubs in the Premier League will be wishing they’d taken a gamble on him.

Salah was rightly voted the Premier League’s Player of the Year because of his amazing goal tally but also because of his scintillating performances and his creativity on the ball. More often than not the Egyptian winger has been unplayable and he’s run most defenses ragged.

The challenge for him now is to come back even stronger next season and show that he really is one of the world’s best and not just a one-season wonder. For now, he has a game against his old club to play this weekend, and a Champions League final at the end of May.

On Sunday, he’ll look to add to his goal tally and it’s hard to see him not achieving this against a Chelsea side that aren’t as strong at the back as they were last season.
