Braun Strowman & Bobby Lashley vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

It’s hard to know where to even start with this, and the problem with this match simply comes from how many “big” shows we’ve had recently. There’s been no time to really build anything original for these guys. So Braun Strowman wins the tag titles with Nicholas at WrestleMania and gives them up the next night on RAW. Okay. Then he goes to Saudi Arabia and wins the 50-Man Greatest Royal Rumble Match and gets a pointless trophy and a pointless belt and no title shot.

But he’s still a draw, and WWE has to find a way to get him on this pay-per-view, so they team him up with another big guy in Bobby Lashley, who doesn’t seem to have any real direction at this point either, to take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Sounds like a Teddy Long special to me, but here we are. Is Zayn still mad that he got “vertigo” from Strowman and Lashley and couldn’t compete in Saudi Arabia? (If you don’t know by now, the real reason he wasn’t there is because he’s of Syrian descent and he wasn’t allowed to participate.) Or is KO upset about Braun bowling him over in the six-man tag this past week? Whatever the case, this match is happening.

Prediction: I can’t picture any scenario where Strowman and Lashley lose this match. Strowman certainly isn’t taking a pin here and Lashley likely wouldn’t either unless it’s building toward something else. Owens and Zayn need to just get through this and then get themselves in the mix for the RAW Tag Team Championship.
