X Games Norway kicks off on Friday, but Saturday is when you’ll find the ever-exciting women’s snowboarding big air competition. Here is a list of who is competing and what to expect from the event.

X Games Norway is taking place this weekend, with competitions running from Friday, May 18 to Sunday May 20. On Saturday, May 19, the best of women’s snowboarding will take to the hill to compete in the big air competition. After looking through the roster, we’re in for a treat.

The X Games will feature some of snowboarding’s best, including up-and-coming Japanese stars Reira Iwabuchi and Kokomo Murase, local legend Silje Norendal and Olympic gold medalist Anna Gasser.

Team USA will be well represented by 19-year-old Julia Marino, who makes landing a cab double underflip look easy. Despite only competing in the X Games since 2017, she’s already collected five X Games medals (a gold, two silver and two bronze).

Another athlete to watch out for is 17-year old Olympic bronze medalist from New Zealand, Zoi Sadowski-Synnott. Zoi is making her X Games debut in Norway and she definitely possesses the confidence and repertoire of tricks to win the big air event.

Reira Iwabuchi (Japan)
Enni Rukajarvi (Finland)
