Los Angeles Rams: Can the additions make this team a champion?

With the youngest head coach in the NFL, and a possible bust at quarterback, the Los Angeles Rams kicked off the 2017 NFL season with very low expectations. 2016 first overall selection Jared Goff looked lost as a rookie, and with the team turning to Sean McVay, many viewed it as a joke.

However, McVay and Goff decided to band together to shock the rest of the NFL, and that is exactly what they were able to pull off. With an elite running back in Todd Gurley, the Rams became the class of the NFC West, and while they lost in the Wild Card round, they proved they are here to stay.

This offseason, the Rams front office left no stone unturned when it came to bolstering this roster. They lost their top cornerback in Trumaine Johnson via free agency, but made up for it by signing elite corners Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib.

In addition, the Rams went out and signed Ndamukong Suh, who was released by the Mimi Dolphins. He joins Aaron Donald in the interior of the Rams defensive line, giving them the best tandem in the middle of any team in the entire league.

Finally, the Rams traded away their first round selection for Brandin Cooks, who was one of the better wide receivers in the AFC last season. They have added so many incredible pieces to the puzzle this offseason, but will it be enough to bring a Super Bowl trophy to La La Land.
