1. Miles Bridges, F, Michigan State

Has there ever been an unsuccessful Miles? Davis, Teller, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s newborn son…I rest my case. Miles Bridges has the highest floor of any prospect in the second half of the lottery. He can shoot and defend, fitting the premium prototype in today’s NBA. But unlike other 3-and-D specialists, Bridges brings world-class athleticism and off-the-bounce potency to the table.

Even at 6-foot-6, Bridges is a strong rebounder and built like a fire hydrant. His versatility and high energy will endear him immediately to the Garden faithful. Hard-nosed play is always appreciated in a hard-nosed city. It will also lend itself on the defensive end to guarding three positions, which is nice.

It’s been a rough go for a long time in Madison Square Garden, but he could be their *lowers sunglasses, throws up finger guns* Bridges over troubled waters.
