Baltimore Ravens — Jared Veldheer

Denver will do everything it can to hold onto Veldheer, who was supposed to be a tentpole player in the offensive line rebuild for John Elway. But with the Broncos butting up against the cap next offseason, it’ll be tough to get Valdheer the money he can command on the open market.

That said, Baltimore doesn’t have significantly more room, but finds itself in a much more honest position of rebuilding. You don’t trade up into the first round to draft Lamar Jackson without understanding it’s time to take this franchise in a different direction.

Ozzie Newsome turns the controls over at GM to Eric DeCosta and we could see a veteran house-cleaning of this roster, clearing space to bring in someone like Veldheer to man the right side of the line opposite Ronnie Stanley. This team has some defensive pieces in place long-term, and needs to focus on building up an awesome around Jackson.

For an old school franchise, that means starting upfront.
