Wrestling legend Ric Flair was recently interviewed by Chris Van Vliet, where he potentially revealed Ronda Rousey’s current WWE deal.

With Ronda Rousey one of main stars on WWE programming, one must wonder how long the former UFC champion will be sticking around be she calls it a day. If its any indication of Rousey’s current deal with WWE, wrestling legend Ric Flair gave an interview with Chris Van Vliet alongside with Hulk Hogan in which he claims that Rousey has only signed a one-year deal with the company when asked about rumors of her facing his daughter Charlotte at Wrestlemania 35.

“I’m not involved obviously in any of the thinking but if they’re ever going to put the women where they belong, this is the year because I think Ronda has only signed a one-year deal and then she’s out of there,” Flair said (via Chris Van Vliet). “She wants to have kids and all that. So, why not? She just needs to be be prepared to lose. Not if sure if Ronda likes that.”

Although WWE hasn’t confirmed that Rousey has indeed signed a one-year deal with the company, it’s worth noting that Rousey has stated in an interview with Yahoo Sports last March that she intends to start having kids real soon, which could indicated that there may be some truth to what Flair is stating.

“We’re ready to start having kids soon and I was thinking about what I’ve left unfinished in my life because I want to entirely focus on having kids when that time comes, Rousey told Yahoo Sports. “I took a long look at my life and thought that if I don’t try and take a shot with the WWE, I would regret it for the rest of my life.”
