G/F. Cincinnati. Jacob Evans. 23. player. 100.

Jacob Evans is the player architype that represents the way the league is going these days: 3-and-D wings. He shot 37.7 percent from deep at Cincinatti (and for those of you that believe that free throw percentage is a better barometer for professional shooting, 75 percent from the charity stripe) and locked down opposing teams to a completely wild 88.3 defensive rating. His steal percentage is nuts, he doesn’t foul or gamble often, and he has the foot speed to stay in front of whoever he is guarding. Even if the offense never comes around, his defense should be enough to mold him into a solid rotation player at his floor. We are stoked to grab Evans at 23.
