1. Denver Nuggets

Denver is already at the cap for next season, but the team also owns Barton’s Bird Rights. In a sense, he can be signed for more money without actually costing the team.

He also fits on the court and has said all the right things about wanting to stay and enjoying his teammates. Denver missed the playoffs this past season — just barely — and being part of an up-and-coming team is probably one of the most fun and exciting aspects of any group venture.
